Mingchih Resort

Located at an elevation between 1150 and 1700 meters, Mingchi National Forest Recreation Area encompasses multiple trails through cypress and pine forests.

The forest area, established under the management of the Veterans Affairs Commission, maintains Taiwan's natural heritage through conservation programs since its foundation.

The Atayal indigenous people traditionally inhabited this mountainous region, considering the forests and surrounding mountains as their ancestral territory.

Multiple marked paths connect the central lake area to observation points, with dedicated zones for camping, picnicking, and outdoor activities throughout the year.

The lake features numerous standing dead cypress trees emerging from its waters, creating a distinct natural phenomenon in the mountain landscape.
