Founded in 1890, the museum began with archaeological discoveries by Viktor Hoshkevych, expanding its collection to include 173,000 items from various historical periods.
The museum holds valuable artifacts from the seventh century BC, including Scythian treasures, ancient coins, and traditional items representing the region's diverse heritage.
Visitors can explore the museum from Tuesday to Saturday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with entrance fees ranging from 5 to 30 Ukrainian hryvnias.
The Natural Science section features a 30-meter-long fin whale skeleton alongside rare specimens including the snow leopard and Siberian tiger.
