Sadko Fountain, Cascade fountain in Sumy, Ukraine
The Sadko Fountain features a central bronze sculpture depicting a musician figure, surrounded by water cascading into an illuminated pond.
Built in 1985 and restored in 2010, the fountain incorporates a bronze sculpture created by artist Yevhen Kulikov in 1975.
The fountain design draws inspiration from Slavic folklore, featuring Sadko, a merchant and musician known for entertaining the Sea Tsar.
Located at the intersection of Kharkivska Street and Heroiv Sumshchyny, the fountain offers benches where visitors can rest and observe.
The fountain combines modern architectural elements with a bronze sculpture that remained without placement for ten years before finding its home.
