Col·legi de l'Art Major de la Seda, Baroque heritage building in Ciutat Vella, Valencia, Spain.

The three-story stone structure features a carved baroque entrance portal with iron-forged balconies and decorative ceramic tiles on both sides.

In 1686, King Charles II transformed the former Velvet Guild into the College of High Silk Art, centralizing the region's textile production.

The building houses the most extensive silk industry archives in Europe, containing scrolls, manuscripts, and documentation from centuries of textile manufacturing.

The museum opens Tuesday through Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays until 7:30 PM, and Sundays until 3 PM at Hospital Street 7.

The eighteenth-century floor tiles display an allegory of Fame surrounded by representations of the four continents, reflecting Valencia's silk trade influence.
