Terres d'oiseaux, Nature reserve in Braud-et-Saint-Louis, France.

The reserve spans 130 hectares of wetlands, meadows, and ponds along the Gironde estuary, providing natural habitats for numerous bird species.

The municipality of Braud-et-Saint-Louis acquired this land in 2002, leading to the establishment of the protected area in 2008 and public access in 2010.

The site functions as an educational center where visitors learn about bird species through guided tours, nature workshops, and seasonal observation programs.

Four walking trails and twelve observation points allow visitors to explore the reserve, including a panoramic tower for comprehensive views of the landscape.

The reserve serves as the primary French site for snipe banding research and hosts more than 145 bird species throughout different migration periods.
