Dai'en-ji, Buddhist temple in Suginami-ku, Japan
Dai'en-ji temple stands among a collection of over 100 Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines distributed throughout the Suginami ward of Tokyo.
The temple represents traditional Buddhist architecture and forms part of a religious complex that includes Saishoji Temple, established in the year 1574.
Local residents frequently visit Dai'en-ji to participate in Buddhist ceremonies, while monks perform daily rituals within the temple grounds.
Visitors can reach the temple within ten minutes by walking south from JR Koenji Station or five minutes north from Tokyo Metro Shin-Koenji Station.
The temple precinct contains multiple religious structures, including Chozenji Temple from 1590, which displays water lilies during summer months.
