Boardman's Windmill, Drainage windmill in How Hill, Norfolk, England

The windmill contains a timber trestle frame structure with a miniature cap, sails, and a fantail positioned along the east bank of River Ant.

Daniel England of Ludham constructed the windmill in 1897 to extract water from surrounding marshlands, operating until destruction by a gale in 1938.

The Grade II* listed structure represents Norfolk's agricultural engineering heritage and the historical importance of water management in the Broads region.

Located 1.5 miles west of Ludham village, the windmill stands near the Norfolk Broads Study Centre and remains open for public viewing throughout the year.

This windmill belongs to a rare group of three remaining trestle mills in the Norfolk Broads, featuring an original design that transitioned from scoopwheel to turbine pump.
