Built in 1910 as the Shepherd's Bush Cinematograph Theatre, the venue underwent multiple transformations until its closure as a cinema in 1981.
The establishment served different entertainment purposes throughout its existence, from showing films to becoming an Australian-themed bar named Walkabout.
The building closed permanently in 2013 and was later demolished to make way for new developments, including an extension of the adjacent Dorsett Hotel.
The structure maintained its original 1920s facade designed by architect John Stanley Coombe Beard despite numerous renovations and changes in function.
