St. Ann's Well, Historic well house in Malvern Hills, England.
St. Ann's Well features an 1813 stone building with a carved Sicilian marble spout releasing natural spring water from the Malvern Hills.
The well gained prominence in 1745 when Dr. John Wall, a Worcestershire physician, published findings about the water's mineral properties.
The spring holds connections to Saint Anne, maternal grandmother of Christ, though earlier origins suggest dedication to Anu, a Celtic water goddess.
The site includes a vegetarian café, open Friday through Sunday, offering meals and refreshments with outdoor seating on the hillside.
A blind musician named George Pullen performed daily at the well on harmonium and dulcitone for 50 years, starting from 1880.
