St Augustine's Church, Grade I listed church in Penarth, United Kingdom
St Augustine's Church features a 90-foot tower constructed from grey limestone with Bath stone details and stands at an elevation of 70.7 meters.
The original church from 1242 was replaced in 1865 by architect William Butterfield, funded by Baroness Windsor at a cost of £10,000.
The interior displays intricate polychromatic designs in ochre, pink, red, cream, and black, with an east window created by Alexander Gibbs.
The church accommodates 1,000 people and contains eight bells, which were recast in 1935 from the original set of six bells.
The churchyard contains fourteen Commonwealth War Graves Commission memorials and serves as the final resting place of Welsh composer Joseph Parry.
