John Halle's Hall, Medieval banqueting hall and cinema entrance in Salisbury, England.
The interior features a six-bayed open timber roof with carved brackets, wooden details, and a stone fireplace decorated with quatrefoil patterns.
Built between 1470 and 1483 by wool merchant John Halle, the Grade I listed building underwent restoration by Augustus Pugin in 1834.
The structure transformed from a medieval hall house to an inn in 1669, and later became the entrance of the Gaumont Cinema in 1931.
The building combines its medieval architecture with modern cinema functions, featuring a Victorian mock-Tudor street façade added in 1880.
The main hall maintains its original medieval core structure while serving as the foyer to a contemporary movie theater in Salisbury.
