Cheetham Town Hall, Grade II listed Victorian town hall in Cheetham Hill, Manchester, England
The red brick building features a symmetrical seven-bay facade with round-headed windows and decorative stone surrounds on a sandstone plinth.
Thomas Bird designed this municipal structure between 1853 and 1855, during Manchester's period of rapid industrial expansion and population growth.
The Italianate architectural style of the building demonstrates the Victorian preference for classical elements adapted for municipal buildings in northern England.
The structure contains two tall stories, a three-bay iron porte-cochere with a glazed roof, and multiple entrances for public access.
The building maintains its original wrought iron balcony at the rear and features modillioned eaves cornice details that distinguish its architectural character.
