William Dewey Foster designed this Colonial Revival building in 1936 for the Office of the Supervising Architect of the United States Treasury Department.
The Morrisania Post Office received recognition through its inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places in November 1988, marking its architectural value.
The facility operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with mail collection times ending at closing.
