Bengie's Drive-In Theatre, Drive-in theater in Middle River, Baltimore, US

The venue features a massive projection screen measuring 52 feet high and 120 feet wide, making it the largest movie screen in the United States.

The Frog Mortar Corporation initiated operations of this drive-in theater on June 6, 1956, under the architectural direction of Jack K. Vogel.

The theater maintains traditional elements by playing the National Anthem before each showing, along with intermission clips, classic cartoons, and vintage trailers.

Visitors can access electric in-car heaters during colder months, enabling movie screenings from early spring through late fall regardless of temperature conditions.

The theater name references the surrounding Bengies community, which received its designation from President Benjamin Harrison, nicknamed Bengie.
