Rendai-Ji, Buddhist temple in Kurashiki, Japan.

The temple features a wooden statue of Fudo Myoo measuring 7.59 meters in height, making it the largest wooden Buddhist statue in Japan.

Founded in 738 by the monk Gyoki, the temple experienced decline during the late Heian period but regained prominence under the protection of Okayama Domain.

The temple's designated cultural properties include a guest hall, a two-storied pagoda, and sliding door paintings by the renowned artist Maruyama Okyo.

Located at 2855 Yuka, Kojima district, the temple opens daily from 9:00 to 16:00, with admission fees of 400 yen for adults and 200 yen for students.

The temple maintains a historical connection with Konpira Shrine in Shikoku, establishing a traditional pilgrimage route during the Edo period.
