Church of the Holy All-Savior, Orthodox church in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia
The Church of the Holy All-Savior features three altars within its stone structure and displays classical Russian architectural elements on Suzdalskaya Street.
Built in 1817 by architects Ivan Ivanovich Mezhetsky and Robert Yakovlevich Kilevein, the church replaced an earlier wooden structure from 1722.
The church maintained regular services during the 1930s anti-religious period, becoming one of the few active religious centers in Nizhny Novgorod.
Visitors can attend daily services from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with Sunday schools, Bible history lectures, and parish choir activities throughout the week.
The church grounds were originally part of Karpovka settlement, named after a local beekeeper, marking the area's connection to historical beekeeping practices.
