Blue Hole, Natural sinkhole dive site in northern Agat Bay, Guam.
The Blue Hole begins at 60 feet below sea level and extends vertically through the reef to a depth of more than 300 feet.
Marine biologists discovered a new species of fish, the Guam Pencil dottyback, within the limestone formation of the Blue Hole in 2004.
Local dive instructors contribute to marine conservation by educating visitors about the protection of the coral reef ecosystem at Blue Hole.
Dive boats depart from Cabras Marina and require surface marker buoys for exit due to strong east-to-west currents in the area.
The natural limestone formation features a heart-shaped entrance at the top and contains a window to the ocean at 125 feet depth.
