Église Notre-Dame-d'Espérance, Catholic church in Le Suquet district, Cannes, France
The Gothic style church features a Renaissance porch, a square Romanesque bell tower, and lateral chapels adorned with artisan guild decorations.
Construction of Notre-Dame-d'Espérance began in 1521 with funds from Cannes residents and reached completion in 1627, replacing the former Notre-Dame-du-Puy church.
The church contains a rare 14th-century sculpture depicting Saint Anne, the Virgin, and Baby Jesus in the baptistery chapel.
Located at 1 Place de la Castre, the church remains active for religious services and can be contacted at 04 93 99 55 07.
An Italian organ from 1857 with a neo-Gothic cabinet sits above the entrance, having undergone partial restoration in 2014.
