Namba Yasaka Shrine, Shinto shrine in Namba district, Osaka, Japan.

The shrine features a prominent lion head-shaped stage building measuring 12 meters in height and 11 meters in width at its central location.

The shrine complex underwent complete reconstruction after World War II due to extensive damage from air raids during the 1940s military operations.

Each January, the shrine holds a traditional tug-of-war ritual celebrating Susano-ono-Mikoto, commemorating the victory over the serpent god Yamato-no-orochi.

Located six minutes from Namba Station, the shrine maintains daily operations from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM without requiring an entrance fee.

The main structure incorporates a massive lion head design with an open mouth believed to consume negative energy and grant success to visitors.
