Devil's Hole, Natural crater and scenic viewpoint in St Mary, Jersey.

The coastal formation features a 200-foot deep and 100-foot wide natural crater created by sea erosion through the cliff face.

In 1851, a French vessel La Josephine wrecked nearby, and its wooden figurehead was recovered and transformed into a devil statue.

The site was originally named Le Creux de Vis, meaning Spiral Hollow in Jersey French, reflecting the local linguistic heritage.

Visitors can access the site via Route 7 bus from Liberation Station to St John's Church, with the journey taking approximately 30 minutes.

A 20-foot bronze statue of the Jersey Devil stands along the pathway, replacing earlier wooden versions that were occasionally stolen.
