Connor's Mill

The three-story mill building features original milling machinery and equipment, displaying the complete process of transforming wheat into flour through steam power.

Built in 1870 by George Hassel for Dan Connor, this steam-driven flour mill produced high-quality flour that received recognition at the Melbourne exhibition that same year.

The mill represents Western Australia's agricultural development, preserving machinery and techniques that shaped local grain processing methods in the nineteenth century.

The museum operates daily from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM on weekdays and until 3:00 PM on weekends, with entry fees of $6.50 for adults and $4.50 for concessions.

After its milling operations ceased, the building transformed into Toodyay's power station in 1917, supplying electricity to the town until the connection to the main grid in 1955.
