Statham's Quarry

Statham's Quarry contains diverse rock formations within Beelu National Park, offering different climbing routes in a natural environment surrounded by bushland.

The quarry, established in 1894 during Western Australia's construction boom, supplied building materials and operated as an industrial site through the early 20th century.

The land where Statham's Quarry stands holds significance to the Whadjuk people, who maintain traditional connections to this area of the Darling Scarp.

Visitors need to obtain an access code from the Parks and Wildlife Mundaring office before participating in rock climbing or abseiling activities at the quarry.

The quarry features a 5.9-kilometer bushwalk that connects to the former Zig Zag Railway, providing views across the Swan Coastal Plain.
