Bellamar Caves, Limestone cave system in Matanzas Province, Cuba.

The Bellamar Caves extend across three kilometers of underground galleries with 28 rooms displaying numerous stalactites and stalagmites throughout the chambers.

A land worker discovered the caves in 1861, leading to their development as one of Cuba's first natural attractions open for public exploration.

The cave complex incorporates a museum at its entrance that presents geological exhibits and indigenous artifacts found within the cave system.

Guided tours lasting 45 minutes operate daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an entrance fee of 10 USD and an additional charge for photography.

The cave system contains suspended solid calcite crystals and underground streams, along with fossils of birds and vertebrates from the Quaternary Period.
