Valley Children's Stadium

Valley Children's Stadium is a sports facility with a sunken bowl design that positions spectators closer to the field than conventional layouts. The facility features modern artificial turf, cantilevered lighting structures, and multiple entry points distributed around its perimeter.

The facility opened in November 1980 with seating for about 30,000 people. Expansion projects later increased capacity to accommodate more than 41,000 spectators as demand grew.

Local fans wear red during home games of the Fresno State Bulldogs, a tradition that colors the stands with each match. This habit has become an expected part of match days for supporters who gather here.

Arriving early helps secure parking nearby and allows time to enter without crowding during peak periods. The multiple entrance points distributed around the venue help spread foot traffic and make movement easier for all visitors.

The playing field displays red-and-white checkerboard end zones with the Bulldogs mascot emblem at center field. These design elements make the field immediately recognizable and create a distinctive appearance during broadcasts.
