Aghjabadi District, Administrative district in central Azerbaijan.
The district encompasses 1,760 square kilometers of land with varied terrain, including plains that rise from north to southwest near the Kur River.
Established on August 8, 1930, the district temporarily merged with Aghdam District in 1963 before regaining independent status two years later.
Archaeological discoveries at Kamiltepe, Nargiztepe, and Garakober sites reveal settlement patterns dating from the Eneolithic period through the Bronze Age.
The district contains 45 villages, where residents focus on agricultural production and animal husbandry as primary economic activities.
Aghgol National Park within the district borders functions as both a nature conservation area and an environmental research location.
