Former Residence of Liang Qichao

The residence features traditional Guangdong architecture with multiple courtyards, wooden structures, and stone carvings representing late Qing Dynasty construction methods.

Built during the Qing Dynasty, this residence belonged to Liang Qichao, a reformist intellectual who promoted modernization in China through his writings and political activities.

The residence contains exhibits displaying Liang Qichao's personal items, manuscripts, and publications that influenced Chinese intellectual development in the early 20th century.

Visitors can access guided tours in Mandarin from Tuesday through Sunday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with last entry at 4:30 PM.

The study room preserves the original desk where Liang Qichao wrote numerous articles advocating for constitutional monarchy and educational reforms in China.
