Südbad, Swimming center in Sendling, Germany
The Südbad features a 25-meter indoor pool, outdoor wellness area, and extensive green spaces with mature trees in the Sendling district of Munich.
Opening in 1960 as Munich's first district swimming facility, Südbad underwent major renovations from 2006 to 2008, introducing modern amenities while preserving its 1950s character.
Every Thursday, the sauna area becomes exclusively available to women from 9:00 to 23:00, fostering a dedicated space for female wellness activities.
The facility operates daily from 7:00 to 22:30 on weekdays and 7:30 to 23:00 on weekends, offering swimming, sauna, and wellness services at Valleystraße 37.
Sliding glass doors transform the indoor pool into an open-air experience during summer, while a vertical garden wall brings natural elements into the swimming hall.
