This strategic fortress transforms into a cultural center during summer, hosting classical concerts, jazz festivals, and astronomical celebrations within its ancient walls.

The fortress opens during weekends from September 14 to 22, 2024, between 10:30 AM and 6:30 PM, with adult admission priced at 6 euros.

An underground staircase with 1,165 steps carved directly into rock connects the lower and upper sections of the fortress, accommodating 500 soldiers and 35 artillery pieces.
