Hebe et l'aigle de Jupiter, Bronze sculpture at Museum of Fine Arts, Dijon, France.

The marble sculpture displays Hebe, daughter of Jupiter and Juno, holding a cup while an eagle reaches toward the divine nectar.

François Rude started this work in 1852 and after his death in 1855, his student Paul Cabet completed the sculpture in 1857.

Names of classical writers Homer, Hesiod, Euripides, Ovid, Virgil, and Catullus are inscribed on the base of the sculpture.

The sculpture measures 253 centimeters in height, 120 centimeters in width, and 80 centimeters in depth at the Museum of Fine Arts.

The eagle in the sculpture extends its wings toward Hebe's cup, representing Jupiter's connection to his daughter in physical form.
