Cellier d'expédition Mumm, Art Deco cultural center in Reims, France.
The red brick building features a large circular forged door and decorative panels illustrating the five stages of champagne production on its facade.
Constructed in 1898 by architect Ernest Kalas for Jules Mumm, the cellar served as a municipal council meeting place after the 1917 city hall bombing.
The facility includes two performance halls on the ground floor and workshops dedicated to comic book creation, photography, and painting on the upper level.
Located at 4 bis rue de Mars next to the city hall, the center maintains exhibition spaces in the basement and hosts regular art displays.
The facade mosaics, created by Auguste Guilbert-Martin, depict detailed scenes of grape harvesting, vinification, bottling, labeling, and packaging processes.
