St. Thomas's Church , Dublin, Anglican church building in Dublin, Ireland
The church features an 18th-century Palladian design with an Ionic doorcase, triumphal east window, and convex quadrants on its exterior walls.
Built between 1758 and 1762 under architect John Smyth, St. Thomas's Church served as a response to population growth when St. Mary's parish divided.
The church contains the remains of notable figures including philosopher Francis Hutcheson and Archibald Hamilton Rowan in its churchyard.
The structure underwent restoration over seven years and reopened in 2005 as John M. Keating's Bar, earning recognition at Dublin City Neighborhood Awards.
Arthur Guinness, founder of the famous brewery, married Olivia Whitmore in this church in 1761, connecting the building to Irish industrial history.
