Sauze d'Oulx

Sauze d'Oulx is a mountain town located at 1509 meters in the Metropolitan City of Turin, serving as a central hub within the Via Lattea ski network. The resort connects to neighboring slopes through an integrated lift system that provides skiers access to varied terrain across the wider area.

The area came under the rule of the House of Savoy in 1713 following the Treaty of Utrecht, shifting from French to Italian control. This territorial change left a lasting mark on the region's character and development.
