Holy Cross Anglican Church, Anglican church in Palermo, Italy.
Holy Cross Anglican Church features a three-nave layout with tall spires, a pointed bell tower, and a large rose window depicting the Adoration of the Lamb.
The church construction, led by architect William Barbel with funding from Joseph Witaker and Benjamin Ingam Junior, was completed between 1871 and 1875.
The marble pillars near the apse contain dedications to important figures of the English church, including Saint Augustine of Canterbury and Queen Elizabeth I.
Located at Via Roma 467/A in Palermo, the church opens on Tuesdays from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM and holds regular services except during July to mid-September.
The pulpit combines marbles from Palermo, Carrara, Devonshire, Cornwall, and Derbyshire, while the organ follows the design of York Cathedral.
