The construction of the church began in 1649 under architect Carlo Morello, followed by significant renovations between 1919 and 1932 by Giuseppe and Bartolomeo Gallo.
The main altar, designed by Bernardo Antonio Vittonne, stands as a central element among the religious artworks, including the 1750 polychrome Addolorata sculpture.
The church welcomes visitors daily from 8:30 to 12:00 and 16:00 to 19:00, with regular Mass celebrations at 18:00 on weekdays and 11:00 and 18:00 on holidays.
The interior of Santissima Annunziata underwent modern reconstruction in the Neo-Baroque style, preserving its historical character while adapting to contemporary needs.
