Sint-Jeroenskerk

The Sint-Jeroenskerk features a substantial corner tower with an octagonal spire and large pointed arch windows adorned with continuous brick arcading beneath the eaves.

The church structure dates back to the 13th century, with significant reconstruction occurring in 1450 following a major fire that required extensive rebuilding efforts.

The church houses a collection of stained glass windows created by Atelier Löhrer in 1903, depicting biblical scenes in late Gothic style craftsmanship.

Located at Sint Jeroen Van Limburg Stirumstraat 26 in Noordwijk, the church maintains regular visiting hours from June through September, including Saturday tower climbs.

According to local records, the skull of Saint Jeroen, who was beheaded by Norse raiders in 856, remains buried somewhere within the church walls.
