Museum of Folk Architecture

The Museum of Folk Architecture extends across 94 hectares, presenting 79 traditional wooden buildings from Warmia, Masuria, and former East Prussia regions.

The museum originated in 1913 when 12 initial structures were transferred from the rural architecture museum in Königsberg during wartime to establish this collection.

The exhibition includes residential homes, religious buildings, and industrial structures furnished with authentic items from 19th and 20th-century rural life.

The museum operates year-round with seasonal hours, offering regular tickets for 5.50 euros and student admissions for 3.50 euros, including access to guided tours.

Within the extensive grounds, visitors can explore a Mini Zoo and maintained gardens while learning about traditional agricultural methods and regional architecture.
