Khoroshevo-Mnevniki District

Khoroshevo-Mnevniki is an administrative district in northwestern Moscow that spreads along the Moscow River with residential areas and the Serebryany Bor forest park. The area combines modern housing complexes with green spaces and connects easily to the city through several metro stations.

The area grew from rural villages of Khoroshevo and Mnevniki into an integrated Moscow district during major urban expansion in the 1960s. This transformation shaped the current layout with its wide streets and organized residential blocks.

The Holy Trinity Church stands out with its traditional Russian Orthodox domes and detailed exterior decoration. Community centers throughout the district regularly host exhibitions and gatherings that reflect the interests and creativity of local residents.

Lake Bezdonnoye within the district maintains constant water levels year-round despite having no visible water sources or inflows. This hidden characteristic makes it a curious spot that intrigues visitors.
