Nanchang Bao'an Temple, Taoist temple in Tainan, Taiwan
The temple features a main hall dedicated to the Five Lords and a rear hall housing the White Lotus Holy Mother stone turtle statue.
Established in 1718 during the Qing Dynasty, the temple grew from a small shrine into a major religious center near the former port area.
The temple preserves one of ten imperial stone turtle monuments commissioned by Emperor Qianlong to commemorate military victories in Taiwan.
The temple opens daily from sunrise to sunset, with increased visitor numbers during traditional festivals and lunar calendar celebrations.
