Elingaard Manor, Renaissance manor museum in Onsøy, Norway.

The two-story manor building features a central wing connected to two side wings, surrounded by gardens designed in the English landscape style.

The estate burned down in 1645 and again in 1746, leading to the construction of the current main building in 1749.

The manor belonged to Chancellor Jens Bjelke, who acquired the property through marriage to Sophie Brockenhuus in 1610.

Visitors can explore the manor through guided tours and contact the administration at +47 45471192 for reservations and information.

The site contains archaeological remains from the Bronze Age, marking over three thousand years of continuous human presence.
