Basilique du Bois-Chenu, Minor basilica in Domrémy-la-Pucelle, France.

The Basilique du Bois-Chenu stands on a hill overlooking the Meuse River, constructed with Euville stone and pink Vosges granite in Romanesque Revival style.

The basilica's first stone was laid in 1881, and construction continued under architect Paul Sédille until 1926, receiving minor basilica status in 1939.

The interior features giant mosaics and eight paintings depicting Joan of Arc's life, with a dedicated crypt containing the Notre-Dame de Bermont statue.

Located at Rue de la Basilique in Domrémy-la-Pucelle, visitors can contact the basilica at 03 29 06 91 80 for guided tours and religious services.

The basilica contains a pipe organ with two keyboards and pedals, built between 1942 and 1944, enhancing the acoustic experience during ceremonies.
