Vinaròs Church of the Assumption

The Church of the Assumption spans 45 meters in length and 23 meters in width, featuring solid stone walls and a quadrangular bell tower.

French architects J. Triafont and M. Valganol constructed this religious building between 1582 and 1594, incorporating defensive elements against potential maritime attacks.

The Baroque portal, created from 1698 to 1702, displays an altarpiece with Solomonic columns, Corinthian capitals, and decorative angels carved in local black and white stone.
