Bartek, Remarkable oak in Poland

Bartek is an ancient oak tree located in Zagnańsk, Poland. Standing approximately 30 meters tall, Bartek features a trunk girth of around 10 meters.

Historical accounts suggest the tree is between 600 and 800 years old, making it one of the oldest known trees in the country.

In Polish folklore, Bartek is believed to have sheltered Polish king Casimir IV Jagiellon and his army during a military campaign.
