Krasiczyn Castle, Renaissance castle in Krasiczyn, Poland
The castle features four oval towers at each corner of its square layout, representing different authorities: Divine, Papal, Royal, and Noble towers.
Construction began in 1580 under Stanislaw Siecienski and continued until 1631 when Marcin Krasicki completed the transformation from a fortified stronghold into a residence.
The Divine Tower contains a chapel with sculpted portals and sgraffito wall decorations that mirror the architectural elements of the Sigismund Chapel in Wawel Cathedral.
The castle stands 10 kilometers southwest of Przemyśl, along the Przemyśl-Sanok route, with organized sightseeing tours available for visitors throughout the year.
The castle walls symbolize the four corners of the globe, maintaining much of their original form since the early 17th century despite numerous fires and wars.
