Church in Budzynek

The Church of Saint John the Baptist and Holy Trinity stands as a religious structure made entirely of larch wood, featuring a Baroque main altar and traditional craftsmanship.

The church received its first documented mention in 1454 when the settlement obtained civic rights as Międzyrzec, with Jan Łaski later acquiring the village in 1520.

The religious monument contains a notable painting of Mother of God of Częstochowa and Saint Florian, representing local devotional traditions within its Baroque altar setting.

Located at coordinates 51.9331°N and 19.1266°E, the church received heritage designation under registration numbers 78-V-2 in 1949 and 88 in 1967.

This religious structure serves one of the smallest parishes in Poland, maintaining its original wooden construction techniques from the turn of the 17th century.
