The Jewish cemetery spans 0.12 hectares and features traditional gravestones with Hebrew inscriptions made from limestone, granite, and basalt materials.
Established in 1822 after receiving permission from local magistrates, the cemetery expanded in 1866 to include Section II due to increasing burials.
The cemetery contains 778 graves that reflect Jewish burial traditions through their orientation, inscription styles, and architectural elements.
Located at the intersection of Granicznej and Waleckiej streets, the cemetery maintains its original perimeter with concrete walls and sandstone decorations.
The first burial occurred in autumn 1821 with Gimpel Pozner being interred before the site officially opened for the community.
