Nonsuch Palace, Royal palace in the United Kingdom
Nonsuch Palace was a Tudor architectural marvel commissioned by Henry VIII.
Designed to rival French chateaus, its construction began in 1538 and fell into disuse in the 17th century.
The name 'Nonsuch' comes from it being unparalleled in magnificence at the time of its creation.
Though the site is now lost, visitors can explore related exhibits at the British Museum.
Nonsuch Palace no longer exists; its exact location in Surrey has been subject to archaeological study.
