Slave Labour, Street art in London

Slave Labour is a mural that was spray painted on a Poundland store wall in Wood Green, London in May 2012.

The artwork is believed to be a commentary on the use of sweatshops to manufacture Diamond Jubilee and London Olympics memorabilia in 2012.

It represents Banksy's characteristic stencil technique and his critique of social issues.

In February 2013, the mural was removed from its location and later sold at a private auction in the United States.

Despite its removal, Slave Labour continues to spark discussions about the ownership and commodification of street art.
