Rollright Stones, Megalithic complex in England

The Rollright Stones is a complex of three Neolithic and Bronze Age megalithic monuments near the village of Long Compton.

The site dates back to between 4,000 and 1,500 BC and has been used for various purposes throughout history.

The stones are associated with numerous legends and folktales, including those involving witches and fairies.

The site is open to the public and can be accessed via a footpath from the road.

The number of stones is said to be uncountable, with folklore suggesting they cannot be counted accurately.
