Shepherd Gate Clock, Historic clock in United Kingdom

The Shepherd Gate Clock is mounted on the wall outside the Royal Observatory in Greenwich.

This timepiece, created by Charles Shepherd in August 1852, played a significant role in timekeeping history.

It's one of the first public displays of Greenwich Mean Time to the public.

Listed as a Grade I building, it still accurately shows the time to visitors.

Its 24-hour analog dial makes it distinctive and an attraction for tourists.
