Great Wilbraham Preceptory, Medieval Templar commandry in Great Wilbraham, Cambridgeshire, Britain

The stone buildings of Great Wilbraham Preceptory incorporate the Church of Saint Nicholas, built in 1226, with Gothic architectural elements and religious symbols.

Alan Martel, Master of the Temple in England, received the manor and rights from Peter Malauney in 1226, establishing a significant Templar presence in the region.

The preceptory contains medieval religious artifacts, including a hidden Templar tombstone beneath the church tower and a Templar cross on the north wall.

The preceptory operated agricultural facilities with dairy processing equipment, including cheese presses and milk cauldrons, supporting local food production in medieval times.

Records from 1298 show Preceptor Richard Peytevyn sold three and a half bales of wool to King Edward I for fifteen pounds three shillings four pence.
